President Karzai Accepts Diplomatic Credentials of New Ambassador of Saudi Arabia |

During a formal ceremony, President Hamid Karzai accepted on Saturday the diplomatic credentials of Misfer Bin Abdulrahman al-Ghasib, the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Afghanistan.
The ceremony was followed by a bilateral meeting also attended by Foreign Minister Dr. Zalmai Rasoul, where the two sides discussed various aspects of bilateral relations between the two countries.
The new Ambassador of Saudi Arabia offered good wishes of his Majesty King Abdullah Khadem ul-haramian Al-sharifain (the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques) to President Karzai and the people of Afghanistan.
Taking into account the special sanctity of Saudi Arabia in the Muslim world, the President said that the people of Afghanistan had remarkable respect to his Majesty King Abdullah- Khadem ul-haramian Al-sharifain.
President Karzai wished success for Misfer Bin Abdulrahman al-Ghasib in his new diplomatic career as Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Afghanistan, hoping that the existing relations will be further enhanced between the two countries.
