Afghan president Hamid Karzai and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry held discussions regarding the
recent issues between Kabul and Islamabad.
Aimal Faizi spokesman for president Hamid Karzai said the two sides discussed the recent clashes
between Afghan and Pakistani troops in Goshta bordering region at eastern Nangarhar province.
Mr. Faizi said, The feelings of the Afghan people is very sensitive since Afghans will no longer tolerate
regarding Pakistans continuous movement inside the Afghan soil and other interferences of Pakistan in
Afghanistan.
Hundreds of Afghans protested against the Pakistan following clashes between Afghanistan and
Pakistani troops that left one Afghan border guard dead.
Afghan forces on Thursday said that they had overrun and destroyed a Pakistani-held border crossing in
a remote area during fighting that began Wednesday night and finished early Thursday morning.
According to officials Pakistan had built the crossing without Afghan approval, and it was one of several
that President Hamid Karzai had publicly complained about last month.
